Make a bold, uplifting statement about the
US Public School System:

Become A
COPACS

for excellence and equity in all public schools
Board Member

Currently, we are in need of volunteer bipartisan
board members who share our vision .

All board members should be knowledgeable about the issues (ESEA/ESSA, research-based school effectiveness, the achievement gap, school accountability, the comparability loophole, disproportionality, expulsions, push-outs, school rankings, etc.) pertaining to public schools and students of color, in particular.

If you are interested in becoming a board member and have an in-depth knowledge of public school advocacy and lobbying or are willing to learn about these subjects,
please contact us at info@copacs.org and tell us how
your experience and background will support the purpose of COPACS....
Candidates will be considered for openings on the executive team.
As a board member will you: show up for children at meetings, hearings, school events and programs...?
Will you explore, discover and learn about the issues and concerns that impact school effectiveness tied to
student achievement?

Will you make a difference in a child's life? Will you support and promote
transparency and accountability in  school governance, discourse and decision-making tied to

student achievement?

Will you support collaborative opportunities focusing on ESSA state goals, including but not limited to:
state accountability plans and teacher evaluation systems linked to student results?

 Please tell us why
you should be a board member
by emailing us at info@copacs.org
